End of Year Parties

We love to celebrate the end of the school year with a big party! Parent volunteers typically provide a lunch and a small treat or party favor. In our older classes, end of the year parties are sometimes held off campus at a local park, nature center or someone’s house.

Volunteer Appreciation Day

Every year we like to treat our most involved volunteers, our chairmen, to a special luncheon or brunch as a thank you. We appreciate all who help make our special events and fundraisers a big success.

Stop by the Community Center for a gift if you’ve volunteered for anything during the school year, no matter how big or small your commitment.

St. Jude Trike-a-Thon

Also an RBCS tradition, each year our 2 year to 5 year old classes bring their trikes, bikes and scooters to ride around a track in the parking lot.  Parents have the option of making donations that we forward to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  This event is near and dear to our hearts as there have been two children in our program who have benefited from the care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Since we first started participating in 2007, our families have been able to donate over $45,000!

MDO & 2 year Parent/Teacher Conferences

If there are ever any questions or concerns about your child, you do not need to wait until conferences to have time to discuss with your child’s teacher. We provide conference weeks to ensure all parents have an opportunity to discuss their child’s progress outside of daily conversations about their school day. Conferences are offered this week to parents of our MDO and 2 year old classes.  Even if you don't schedule a conference, an assessment will be provided for your review.
